While the MGS2 story could be charged with this and it would be right, the MGS4 story makes perfect sense, and every tiny detail is taking into consideration. Now is you weren't smart enough to understand it, that's a completely different thing, just don't blame it on the game or on Kojima. Reply

All the long awesome cut scenes the stealth gameplay is what made mgs mgs. I got 2 consoles and I hardly do anything with it, except play metal gear on PS3. All the other games I play on my PC nowadays. Crysis on resolution 1900 x 1200 and very high details.. kicks ass too:) Dont compare GoW, Halo etc etc to MGS. they dont even come close. Reply

I don't mean by changing the platform, as I think they could easily make it work on Xbox 360 with the new development tools they're implementing, but by avoiding the 2 year lifecycle you've mentioned. Kojima Productions should not need to work to such a short deadline as regular games, because I don't think it's healthy for games of this calibur to be restrained in that way. Take a look at the greatest series available, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Mario, Metal Gear and Halo. All are consistently high quality, and all avoid strict release schedules like the current big hitters that will be forgotten about in a few years time. As long as the likes of Kojima Productions have the space and resources they need to create their games, they will not decrease in quality. Report Reply

Greedy companies like Ubisoft, EA etc. go with multi-platform only for the sake of money, sacrificing quality in the process. amen. this is what i have been saying all along. Think of what kind of game Resident Evil 5 could have been had they stuck with the plan for a PS3 exclusive. Xbox only had ONE Metal Gear game, and that's Metal Gear Solid 2. Metal Gear Solid 3 was all PS2.
