The recreation of the four ski resorts is excellent, the online functionality is well thought out, and at times the views are magnificent, but the game just isn't as much fun as it should have been.

Ash	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post I played Stoked Rider and Alaska Alien on PC which are both from Bongfish Entertainment who also do Stoked. Gameplay Videos from Stoked look almost the same as Stoked Rider and its successor and these games were just boring in my opinion. Lame controls, no feeling for speed... Perhaps they do it better on console Reply

It is really sad to see ads for the game posted all over IGN and other sites and no reviews even though people have been playing the game for awhile. At least Gamespot posted a link to this review. As for the game- it took me 4 hours to get the hang of it but once I did I really like the feel. It makes me wonder how long this reviewer played for. I agree that it would have been nice to have some kind of story in the game to lead you through it, but as far as representing "real" snowboarding, this is the closest I've ever played. A lot of people hated Skate at first too, but now we all look back at it fondly. I imagine this game will be the same. Reply

A) amazingly we actually do have boardable mountains here in Britain and B) the Alps are less than a 2 hour flight away. Let's keep the innane babble to a limit please! nanc	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post i have yet to play this game, but from the few USER reviews that i have read. i think the critics just look for a ssx replacement. which this game is not. one of my all time favorite games was winter xgames 2002. why? because it has the most realistic riding of its time. im a true boarder have been on the mountains for 16 years. and i want a game that feels like im riding down a mountain, not flying 400 feet doing a quad rodeo 1260.
