THQ Nordic has “quite a few” unannounced titles currently in development based on IPs formerly owned by THQ, CEO Lars Wingefors has revealed.

Speaking to MCV, Wingefors explained that he couldn’t comment “on each IP”, but “quite a few of the [firm’s] unannounced games are from the THQ portfolio. I am really excited about having those announced in the coming few months or the next year,” he said. “There will be more news soon.”

THQ Nordic, which previously operated under the name Nordic Games, acquired the rights to multiple THQ IPs following its demise in 2013, including Darksiders, De Blob, Full Spectrum Warrior, Red Faction, Destroy All Humans and Stuntman.

Earlier this month it revealed that it had 23 games in development, 13 of which had yet to be announced. One of the former THQ games in development is Darksiders: Warmastered Edition, a remaster of the 2010 action game heading to PS4, Xbox One, Wii U and PC later this year.
