No wonder Mojang is set to double its profits year-on-year.

Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition is proving so successful on Xbox LIVE Arcade that it is shifting a staggering 17,000 copies each and every day, reports MCV Nordic.

Swedish developer Mojoang made a profit of 7.2 million Euros last year and is reportedly set to double that this year.

In addition to the runaway success of the Xbox LIVE Arcade game, the original Minecraft continues to sell just as well as it did prior to release.
