Far Cry 3 PC gamers are encountering issues when attempting to access the game because of server issues with Ubisoft’s Uplay service.

Essentially, some PC gamers are reporting being unable to access the game, including the single-player, which is rather irritating for those eager to get going on one of the best rated games of 2012.

Thankfully, Reddit has come up with a solution – to set the Uplay client to offline mode – which appears to have the desired results.

Ubisoft Tweeted the following to gamers: “Dear #FarCry3PC players we’re very sorry for the server issue affecting your access to the game. We’re working as fast as possible to fix it.”

Far Cry 3 launched today in the UK.
