Nice review Tom. I really enjoyed the multiplayer beta for Blur. Put quite a few hours into the beta and my record was quite surprising to say the least. In the top 3 over 50 times? Great achievement within itself.

The career mode is something which I would like to sink my teeth into.

Good stuff yet again from the Orr-eo biscuit ;)

Excellent read, unlike the complete *****e that passes for a review on Blur by the IGN US team.

I must confess being in the same mindframe as Tom, I love and adore both PGR 2 & 4, with #4 being my favourite 360 racing game as it provides me with more grins per minute than any other racing game. When Bizarre announced Blur, I somewhat underwhelmed with their unoriginal concept & the hands-on previews underlined this notion of a dull car combat game.

Fast forward a year and the release of the beta had me hooked - Bizarre hadn't lost their magical touch and created a wonderful blend of action and strategy. So I pre-ordered Blur and look forward to playing it non-stop.

It's a shame Split/Second and Blur have released a week apart (and right as RDR comes out too!) as both development studios deserve support.

Cheers.
