Great review Tom.

The career mode is something which I would like to sink my teeth into.
Good stuff yet again from the Orr-eo biscuit ;)

I must confess being in the same mindframe as Tom, I love and adore both PGR 2 & 4, with #4 being my favourite 360 racing game as it provides me with more grins per minute than any other racing game. When Bizarre announced Blur, I somewhat underwhelmed with their unoriginal concept & the hands-on previews underlined this notion of a dull car combat game.
Fast forward a year and the release of the beta had me hooked - Bizarre hadn't lost their magical touch and created a wonderful blend of action and strategy. So I pre-ordered Blur and look forward to playing it non-stop.
It's a shame Split/Second and Blur have released a week apart (and right as RDR comes out too!) as both development studios deserve support.
Cheers.
