Sony has said that it’s “looking forward to an amazing E3”, weeks before the show opens its doors on June 16.

The platform holder built excitement for next month’s event shortly after PlayStation UK’s managing director revealed that he had no concerns about the lineup of games available on PS4 this Christmas.

“There is plenty for gamers to get excited about already, such as Tearaway for PS4 and No Man’s Sky,” MD Fergal Gara said in an interview published yesterday. “That’s just the start of what is on the table right now. So I don’t have any concerns that we will have a lack of strong software for PS4 this peak.”

While Sony has yet to announce its plans for E3, it’s expected to be holding a press conference on June 15 where it will reveal more details on games heading to PS4 this year.

Microsoft confirmed details on its E3 press conference yesterday, announcing a 5:30pm start on June 15 and the “greatest games lineup in Xbox history”.
