According to US video game retailer GameStop, a playable demo of THQ’s upcoming destruction-heavy action title, Red Faction: Guerrilla, will be available next month.
There’s a catch though. Currently it appears as though the only way to get hold of the demo is through pre-ordering the game with GameStop.
“Reserve Red Faction: Guerrilla and receive exclusive access to the demo from April 3 to April 23,” states the product description.
We’ve contacted THQ for clarification on whether the demo will be available at a later date for gamers who don’t pre-order and if there will be a similar pre-order promotion in the UK.
According to GameStop, Red Faction: Guerrilla is scheduled for release in June.
Update: THQ UK has confirmed to VideoGamer.com that it will be offering early access to the demo to a “select number” of people on April 4. Expect further details soon. The publisher also confirmed that the demo will be made available to the public at a later date.
