Speaking in an interview with VideoGamer.com about the forthcoming Command & Conquer 3 expansion Kane’s Wrath, Associate Producer Jim Vesella has commented on the possibility of the RTS series heading to the PlayStation 3.

When asked if Command & Conquer 3 and its expansion would ever see a release on the PlayStation 3 Vesella said: “Right now C&C3 is sticking to the Xbox 360, but stay tuned for any future announcements!”

With EA’s next big RTS, Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 heading to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 the publisher clearly has ambitions to bring the RTS genre to the Sony console.

Of the many new additions found in Kane’s Wrath for the Xbox 360, EA is most excited about the improvements made to the Xbox 360 game’s radial interface control scheme. While PS3 gamers might not be able to play Kane’s Wrath, feedback on this new control interface will shape the system used for Red Alert 3 on consoles.

“We’re hoping to implement a similar system for Red Alert 3, and we’re looking forward to getting fan feedback from Kane’s Wrath,” commented Vesella.
