Rick	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post p.s. go to page 2. not a cloud in the sky and it's still dark. explain that. and look at the second comparison, at the tall tower that is emitting blue light. you can barely see blue on the 360 version. i don't care if on a "technical" issue the 360 is running better, all i care is that ps3 looks better. and i remind that this is based solely on these screenshots. As to what rick just said... if u look at the 360shots even the sky is darker, cause the screen is darker.. not the actual rendering. But in either case click on your screenshots at full resolutions... lol have fun with that without any of the effects... looks like a ps2 game on the ps3. Also have fun with a game that runs horribly lol... the game doesnt look good enough to run horribly. I pity you cause your comments are you trying to prove it all toyourself that u made the right decision over xbox 360. And you keep calling me bill gates, but i dont even own a 360... and yes.. vista is garbage. Later... done talkn about this lol.. no winning in a conversation with someone who refuses to look at something only to keep saying DARK DARK lol then brighten it if its too dark for u lol... problem solved... The lighting may very will (in this port) be inhibited on the PS3...but I have to say, based on these screen shots, the PS3 version just looks like a game I would rather play than the 360 version. I own the 360 version - and it doesn't look that dark to me. I've ran into framerate issues on my 360 also. Bottom line: #1 these screenshot comparisons don't do justice for EITHER of the consoles. #2 ID didn't produce an A+ title here. Reply

Considering i could run this game on an AMD XP 2600+ with an Nvidia 7600gt at max quality with 4xAA at 1280x1024, it is an absolute joke to see this game running at not even 1280x720 with no AA with next gen hardware that is far superior to my old computer!!! Rick	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post sounds like you're trying to convince YOURSELF that the 360 version is better. and the game isn't dark because the brightness was turned down. and you can prove it right now too: EVERYONE TURN THE BRIGHTNESS DOWN ON YOUR MONITOR RIGHT NOW. you can still tell that the ps3 version has more vibrant colors. the ps3 screenshots still look more vibrant when my monitor is at it's darkest than the 360 version when my monitor is at it's brightest. so once again you were proven wrong. it has to do with the systems and 360 can't render colors and lighting as well as ps3 does. and just like in GTA IV, i would rather play a game that SUPPOSEDLY has a few more framrate issues than the 360 than NOT BEING ABLE TO PLAY THE GAME AT ALL. and i'm referring to the RROD. MRMagoo123	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post The funny thing is this game sucks balls no matter what console its on so who cares but by the pics its better on ps3.I think the reason the screenshots are darker on the 360 version is cos they made them darker to hide the bad textures so they could try to say ps3 looks worse when the fact is it looks worse then the ps3 version no matter what they do to it same as most games.OH and nameless your a nobjockey if the 360 is sooooooooo graphically powerful tell me how uncharted is better looking than any game the 360 has to offer dipwad.Maybe ppl would care if this game was worth buying in the first place save ur money for battlefield or metalgear if your one of the lucky ones that bought a good console Reply

Havent played the console versions, but i'd choose the colourful one. Yes the strogg are trying to take over earth, but theres no atomosphere in the backgrounds of a war etc. Im just happy playing the game. Thats what we buy it for idnt it? Report Reply

Karlius	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post I can't believe there are some people on here that don't understand the concept of mood lighting and for some reason on this game the PS3 has none in this paticular game. Now you PS3 fans can either sit back and deny that there is a problem or do something about it complain to Sony so they don't make the same stupid mistkes they did with this console. The problems in the coding for the PS3 and nothing else. I mean with the spec it should be able to perform much better. A lot of people think i'm a ms fanbot (lol) I really am not just know that the PS3 was designed by muppets. The original spec given to the release spec to the spec now have all changed drastically. They did this with PS2 also Toy Story Graphics my arse! Maybe soon they'll have a developers dream. Get in contact with Sony and voice your concerns. Maybe next time they'll listen to the developers before producing a console that is stupidly difficult to code for. Report Reply
