Vegetables are a sustainable food resource that can be acquired from the appropriate backyard extension of your burgage plot.

Vegetables Production

There are two main methods of producing vegetables - by building a burgage plot with a shared garden, and by purchasing a vegetable garden extension.

To build a burgage plot with a shared garden, you will need 2 timber to begin construction.

To purchase a vegetable garden extension it will cost 15 regional wealth.

The amount of food resources you can get depends on the size of your extension.

How to use vegetables

You can use vegetables in a number of different ways.

  • Upgrading Burgage Plots

If you have a consistent supply of vegetables, you’ll also start getting more food stalls in the marketplace. This is one of the requirements for an upgrade to your burgage plot.

  • Sell them for regional wealth

Too many vegetables for your settlement? Simply export them and increase your regional wealth.

  • Distribute them to your settlement

You can distribute vegetables to settlers via the food carts. This will keep them fed, but also add to the variety of foods in the settlement, increasing your chances of creating a self-sustainable colony.
