How to use barley
Barley has a few uses that make it a valuable crop to grow in your settlement.
Creating Malt
From barley, you can create malt. To do this, you’ll need to build a malthouse.
Creating Ale
When you have a malthouse, you can construct a brewery extension in your level 2 burgage plots to create ale.
Once the brewery extension is complete, any settlers working in the brewery will become artisans. Yes, you’ve just created medieval hipsters - congratulations!
