Yoshi’s New Island will release on Nintendo 3DS and 2DS on March 14, Nintendo UK has announced.
The game is the latest entry in the Yoshi’s Islad series and has been produced by Takashi Tezuka, the creative director of the Super NES original. It’s the first new game in the series since Yoshi’s Island DS was released in 2006.
In Yoshi’s New Island, Yoshi and Baby Mario return with new eggs and abilities. Players can use massive eggs called Mega-Eggs to destroy blocks and pipes, revealing secrets such as coins and hidden keys.
