2K Games has announced that BioShock Infinite will launch in the US on October 16 and internationally a few days later on October 19.
BioShock Infinite is in development at Irrational Games, the studio behind the acclaimed first entry in the series. To date BioShock and BioShock 2 have sold-in over 9 million units globally.
“After BioShock, we had a vision for a follow up that dwarfed the original in scope and ambition,” said Ken Levine, creative director of Irrational Games. “BioShock Infinite has been our sole focus for the last four years, and we can’t wait for fans to get their hands on it.”
