Assassin’s Creed 4 has appeared on the LinkedIn profiles of three Ubisoft employees.

An audio artist at Ubisoft Montreal, a UI artist Ubisoft Bucharest, and a dev tester at Ubisoft Annecy each had the unannounced title listed on their online CVs last night, with the latter dating the game for a 2013 release.

The title has either since been removed from each of their profiles or altered to “Unannounced Project” – but not before VideoGamer.com managed to grab shots of the listing.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed that a new Assassin’s Creed title was in the works earlier this month, revealing that the game would introduce an “all-new Assassin’s Creed hero” and be set within a new time period.

The game is set to be released during Ubisoft’s FY14, which runs between April 1, 2013 and March 31, 2014. Given the date listed on the Ubisoft Annecy employee’s CV, it seems fairly likely that Assassin’s Creed 4 will be this autumn’s Assassin’s Creed title.

According to a post on VGleaks, a new Assassin’s Creed title is rumoured to be revealed as early as tomorrow, with the site speculating that the game could be set during World War II.

Ubisoft declined to comment when contacted by VideoGamer.com.
