XDefiant:Flash Shield
Overview
Flash Shield is an Ultra skill for the GSK faction. G52-Tactical Shield is the full name of the skill and it was launched in season 1 of XDefiant.
The shield is a unique gadget for GSK's Elias "Blitz" Kötz, an Attacking Operator featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege.
This is a tactical shield that blinds enemies thanks to a series of bright LEDs attached at its front. The user can blind and bash a target using this Ultra skill.
While the shield is used to infiltrate and breach strongholds with active mobile cover, the player holding it can only use a 93R Handgun. This weapon features a 60-round magazine and fires a 3-round burst, which is enough to kill a target easily in a few bursts.
The customized 93R is triggered during the duration of Flash Shield Ultra. The weapon cannot be reloaded while the skill is active, and you cannot carry more ammunition as well.
Similar to Blitz who uses the shield to flash opponents, you can use it in the same fashion in XDefiant. A user can detonate flash charges which have the same effect as a Flashbang Grenade. Each charge blinds and disorients an enemy, making it an easier target to kill.
