In Starfield, Xenosociology is a skill in the Social category. By levelling up this skill, players will be able to force hostile alien creatures to temporarily stop fighting, flee, turn on their allies, or obey commands. As a Master-tier skill, players will need to invest 12 skill points in Social skills before it can be unlocked. Later ranks are locked behind challenges.

Rank 3 | Players can compel an alien creature up to 10 levels higher than them to attack their allies temporarily. | Successfully use Frenzy on 15 different aliens. |
Rank 4 | Players can compel an alien creature up to 10 levels higher than them to obey their commands temporarily. | N/A |
