Armorer's Workshop uses

As mentioned, the Armorer's Workshop is a backyard extension where you can create Helmets, Mail Armor, and Plate Armor from Iron slabs, which are used for the army. You can also trade these items at the Trading Post for profit.

How to build an Armorer's Workshop

To start with, the Armorer's Workshop is an Artisan Backyard Extension, which means it can only be constructed inside Level 2 Burgage Plots. Further, you need to unlock it by getting the Basic Armormaking Development from the development tree.

The actual construction cost of the Armorer's Workshop is 10 units of Regional Wealth and 4 units of Planks, which you can obtain from the Sawpit.

After this, you will need to unlock Advanced and Master Armormaking so you can start producing Mail Armor and Plate Armor.

  • Advanced Armormaking: Unlocks Mail Armor that can be used by citizens of Burgage plots of Level 3+ and also promotes a new Retinue.
  • Master Armormaking: Unlcoks Plate Armor, which can be used to upgrade the Retinue.

As Iron Slabs are the main raw materials used for manufacturing Armor, make sure you have enough supply of those.

How to upgrade Armorer's Workshop

The Armorer's Workshop cannot be upgraded in the current Manor Lords early access stage.
