XDefiant:Blitz Shield
Overview
In XDefiant, the Blitz Shield is an activated skill for all Phantoms characters. Your character deploys a shield while using the skill and can bash an opponent in front.
The Blitz Shield, when deployed by triggering the skill, remains active for 25 seconds. The shield can be destroyed by an opponent if it sustains too much damage by blocking at the front.
The player using the Blitz Shield skill will not be able to fire a weapon or sprint for the duration. However, the shield bash ability becomes available for use, which could kill a target in two uses.
The deployed shield can neither be destroyed by an EMP Grenade, nor the Lockout ultra can control it.
The July 21, 2023 patch fixed a bug where a player holding the shield used to take incendiary damage from bullets fired by the Cleaners.
