Manor-Lords:Plate armor
Plate Armor is a Military Resource in Manor Lords. It is a very valuable resource that can be crafted for x8 Iron slab through the Armorer's Workshop and unlocked with the Master Armormaking upgrade from your Development Skill Tree.
Plate Armor production
There are five steps to making this resource which are a combination of producing a load of Iron Slabs, developing your Armormaking Skill Tree, and upgrading your Burgage plots to Level 2. Here's a rundown of what you'll have to do.
- Build a Mining Pit
- Build a Bloomery
- Unlock Master Armormaking
- Build a Level 2 Burgage plot
- Build an Armorer's Workshop extension
Building a Mining Pit
Find some Rich Iron Deposits and throw down x1 Timber to create a Mining Pit. This will allow you to mine Iron Ore, the essential ingredient for Iron Slabs.
Build a Bloomery
You will then need to build a Bloomery for x2 Timber. Do this near your Mining Pit for a more efficient production process. With the Bloomery, you can now start converting Iron Ore into Iron Slabs.
Unlock Master Armormaking
By upgrading your Settlement Level, you can earn Development Points. You'll find Master Armormaking in the Industry section of the Development Skill Tree. If you want Plate Armor, this is where you will want to spend these precious points!
Upgrade Burgage Plots to Level 2
For Armorer's Workshop Backyard Extension, you will need a Burgage Plot at Level 2. This can be achieved by getting the right amount of relevant materials or market supplies for your settlement.
Build the Armorer's Workshop extension
You can now build the Armorer's Workshop for x10 Regional Wealth and x4 Planks. This extension will convert the settlers working on it into Artisans, and you will now be able to produce Plate Armor for x8 Iron Slabs.
Plate Armor uses
Plate Armor can be used to increase the defensive stats of your Militia and is also one of the ways you can upgrade your Retinue.
It can also be exported via a Trading Post in your settlement as a Commodity. How much is goes for will depend on the supply and demand of given territories.
