Manor-Lords:Gambesons
Gambesons are a Military Resource in Manor Lords. They are armor pieces used by your Militia that increase their defense and can be crafted at the Tailors Workshop for x2 Linen.

To get Gambesons for your Militia, your focus should be on producing Linen and ensuring you've met the requirements to have a Level 2 Burgage Plot. That being said, it's quite straightforward once you know how. Here's a breakdown of the steps.
- Build a Farm
- Plant Flax
- Build a Weaver's Workshop
- Build a Level 2 Burgage Plot
- Buy a Tailor's Workshop
Building a Farm
Select an area where you want to build a Farmhouse and Field. This will cost you x3 Timber and is best constructed in an area of high Flax fertility.
Plant and harvest Flax
The raw material of Linen is Flax, so go ahead and plant away. Assign a Family to the Farmhouse and put them to work harvesting Flax for that precious Linen!
Building a Weaver's Workshop
This costs x4 Timber and is best built near your Flax field to ensure a smooth production process. Once you have built this, you will be able to convert Flax into Linen.
Each Gambeson needs x2 Linen, so make sure to stock up enough for your needs.
Build a Level 2 Burgage Plot
To unlock the Tailor's Workshop backyard extension you will need to have a Burgage Plot at Level 2. You can take multiple routes to this including having enough relevant materials or meeting other settlement requirements.
This process costs x4 Timber.
Building a Tailor's Workshop
And now, the time has come! Purchase the Tailor's Workshop for x5 Regional Wealth and x5 Planks.
The residents of the farm will now be Artisans, and these fashionistas will be able to create Gambesons from Linen. They will also be able to produce Cloaks and Clothes.
