Communal Oven uses
The Communal Oven makes bread for the people in your settlement. In one go, the oven can generate 1 Bread and store 50 units of it. Now, this is less efficient than a Bakery Extension, but you should be able to suffice a smaller settlement easily.
Producing bread will increase the food variety in your settlement, which will lead to increased Approval. Plus, baking bread in the Communal Oven can fulfill one of the prerequisites for leveling up your Burgage plot.
How to build a Communal Oven
To build a Communal Oven, you will need two units of Timber. Then, you need to assign workers (the oven has 3 worker slots) to maintain a steady supply of Bread.
Baking Bread in Manor Lords is a somewhat tedious process. First of all, you need to plant Wheat or Rye in your Fields. Then, these crops will be turned into Grain at the farmhouse. After this, the Grains get converted into Flour at the Windmill, which is then supposed to be supplied to the Communal Oven for creating Bread.
Before you place a Communal Oven, you need to make sure that it is near the Windmill. This will reduce the time spent transporting Flour to the oven and speed up Bread production. Further, note that the oven cannot be moved, so be mindful while selecting the location.
