Rhythmic Star is a dancing game, and just like existing dancing titles the key to success is timing. Using the EyeToy the player has to touch the stars on the screen in time to the music as they fall down the screen. The game will feature 25 music tracks including cover versions of Material Girl, Lady Marmalade, Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, Surfin’ USA and more.
The game has three modes of play (Main, Survival and Competition) with up to four players taking part in a head-to-head challenge for the highest score. Perform well and you’ll be rewarded with special items including vampire teeth, big ears and funky dreads.
“We are extremely proud that Namco have chosen to work with Ignition,” said Peter Rollinson, Product Manager, Ignition Entertainment. “We feel that Rhythmic Star will be a welcome addition to the EyeToy USB camera compatible range of games.“
Rhythmic Star will be released on March 10 exclusively on PlayStation 2, at the budget price of £14.99
