Best Wii U Games of All Time
It’s been a bit of a rough ride for the Wii U. The console launched a year earlier than Sony and Microsoft’s next-gen offerings, and has always felt vastly underpowered. While that may have worked for the Wii, lightning has failed to strike for a second time.
Many called for Nintendo to bring an abrupt end to the console’s life cycle and usher in a new, more powerful console, but the company stood firm with a strong first party line-up alongside new indie projects. Nintendo finally gave players the power to create their own Mario levels with the announcement of Mario Maker at E3 2014, and looked to take a slice of the Skylanders pie with the Amiibo toy line.
Although the Wii U may not be blazing a trail in the console market, there’s still plenty of great games to enjoy. Take a look at our list of top Wii U games to see which ones are worth your time.
