Top Simulation Games of 2014

The world of the simulation game changed forever in 2014 with the release of game no one really believed was real. A joke, which somehow became a reality. No, I'm not talking about Peter Molyneux's Godus, but Coffee Stain Studios' Goat Simulator.

Goat Simulator isn't actually a very good simulation of a goat, being more like a crazed version of the classic Tony Hawk's Pro Skater titles, but this didn't stop the title become a social media phenom. A quick search on YouTube provides all manner of videos with people kidding around.

The game was also ported to mobile platforms such as the iPad and iPhone, plus there's a version coming to Xbox One.

2014 wasn't all about Goat Simulator, with plenty of better simulation games being released, it's just none of those featured goats which could do parkour style freestyle moves.

If, however, you are interested in finding out what other simulation titles were worth picking up in 2014 then check the list below.
