Best PlayStation 3 Games of 2014
There’s still life in the old dog yet, as support for the PS4’s older brother shows no sign of slowing down. Sony weren’t joking about that ten year life cycle.
We’ve already seen some huge releases on PS3 this year. The long-awaited Dark Souls 2 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 have already been and gone, as has Watch_Dogs, a game far more associated with the PS4. Looking forward, the console will enjoy its own versions of next-gen favourites such as Destiny and Metal Gear Solid V, and you’ll be surprised at just how good they look running on the old hardware. In fact, most of the big next-gen games on the horizon will be cross-gen releases, so while they might be missing out on better graphics, PS3 owners aren’t exactly being left behind yet.
In addition, PS Plus subscribers continue to receive monthly treats which add value to the system and contribute to the wealth of new titles still flowing its way. Have a nose to see which ones have made our list.
