The New Xbox One Experience update has begun rolling out across the globe, but there’s a chance you may not get it at the same time as other users, Microsoft has warned.
In a post on Major Nelson’s website, Microsoft explained that, while the 1154MB update is/ rolling out now, “not everyone is going to get it at the same time”.

“Depending on the time zone you are in, as well your Xbox One console settings, you may get the New Xbox One Experience at a different time than your friends.”
If your console is set to Instant-On mode, the update should automatically download when placed into standby while connected to the Internet. But if you have it set to Energy-Saving mode, you’ll need to manually prompt the update to download by loading up the Settings, heading to System and selecting Update Now.
“Note that all Xbox One consoles will receive a prompt for a mandatory update on November 23 if they have not yet updated to the New Xbox One Experience.
If you haven’t downloaded the update by November 23 you’ll receive a prompt forcing you to install it.
Regardless of when you receive the update, however, Xbox 360 backwards compatibility will become available to all Xbox One users at 12:01pm PT (20:01pm GMT) today. Once backwards compatibility launches, you’ll be able to download your digital Xbox 360 games directly from the Ready to Install section on My Games or Apps, or insert the physical disc to prompt a download required to play it.
