Overkill's The Walking Dead has reanimated another grisly trailer, this time introducing its fourth playable hero, Grant. Apparently, Grant likes to spend his time in post-undead pandemic US by having a chinwag with a zombie about his granddaughter.
Evidently, Grant knows a thing or two about surviving against the zombie hordes, as his decomposing buddy has had his jaw severed, effectively rendering him harmless. Michonne used the same party trick to great effect in The Walking Dead comic book and TV series.
Clearly this wasn't a friendship meant to last however, as Grant dispatches the zombie with a well-placed shot to the head. A worrying number of other reanimated corpses then start to approach the vehicle before the scene wraps.
Overkill's The Walking Dead is due out on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in 2018, though right now there's no plans to introduce the likes of Rick Grimes and co into the mix as post-launch content.
