The next generation of VR gaming releases today, if you’re expecting one you might want to know how to turn the PSVR 2 Sense controller on and off. We’re going to be breaking down exactly that right here.

The PSVR 2 release day has finally arrived, which means that the brand-new sense controller is out too. As with any new tech release, there are a tonne of practical questions that need to be answered before consumers know if it is right for them.

We’ve already covered whether PSVR 2 controllers are compatible with PS4, and how to sync PSVR 2 Sense controllers, now we’re going to break down how to turn them off and on.

How to Turn the PSVR 2 Sense Controller On and Off?

The first thing you need to make sure if that your PSVR 2 controllers are charged and synced. Once they are, you simply need to press and hold the PS button on the controllers until there is a beeping sound. This means they are turned on.

When they are on there should be a battery display on the screen, in the same place as it is for the wireless DualSense controllers.

The PSVR 2 Sense controllers automatically turn off when they have been left idle, or if you exit the SteamVR app. If you want to manually turn them off you can go to Control Center > Accessories > PSVR 2 Sense Controller.

We’re keeping a close eye on the new PSVR 2, a VR headset we are very excited about. If you want more details on why that is, we have an in-depth PSVR 2 review where we break it all down. We also have you covered if you want to know where to buy the device.
