To be clear, the official spec for this TV is 1,500 peak nit brightness, though this TV seems to have a strong reputation for being brighter. In our experience, adjusting the Picture Mode to ‘Dynamic’, while maxing out the brightness and contrast settings is the surest way of getting the most brightness out of your TV.
The main disadvantage of this TV are the brightness levels that struggle a bit, partly because it lacks Dolby Vision. Still though, you’re getting a 4K TV for a decent price. That includes 120Hz support and a total of six speakers which produces great sound quality and HDR 10+ content. Overall though, it’s a pretty bright TV that enjoys a host of advanced features while staying at a mid-range price point.
