RTX 4060 Ti price – how much does it cost to buy?

The RTX 4060 Ti 8GB costs a minimum of $399 at launch, though we’ve seen some partner cards list for slightly more. This makes it the first card with Nvidia’s Ada Lovelace architecture to have an MSRP of less than $500 which is pretty exciting. The news comes as 3060 Ti was also announced back in 2020 with an MSRP of $399, leading potential buyers keen to be clear on the differences between the 4060 Ti and its 3060 Ti. We’re still waiting on the 4060 Ti review embargo until we can decide whether the $399 offers good value for money. Until then, the main reservation potential buyers have pointed out is the rather low 8GB RAM, meaning buyers might be better off waiting till July for the release of the 16GB version.

The Founder’s Edition card is available direct from their Nvidia’s website, but is also listed on Best Buy. For gamers conscious of spending hundreds on an upgrade, the Founder’s Edition is a popular choice. Retailing for less than $400, the RTX 4060 Ti 8GB Founders Edition is ideal for those keen on DLSS 3 and advanced ray tracing for a more affordable price. Curiously, the 16GB model is not releasing a Founder’s Edition.

On the surface of things, the RTX 4060 Ti looks like it will be a fairly expensive graphics card considering the performance uplift from previous generations. Many people in the gaming community are wondering whether the RTX 4060 Ti is powerful enough to warrant an upgrade from their older, previous gen graphics cards.
