We can confirm that the Last of Us Part 1 PC edition will not have ray tracing, at least for now. In all the information and system requirements that have been released there, has been no mention of ray tracing and not many had expected it to be compatible.

This will still come as something of a disappointment to players who had hoped to make the most of the graphic technology when replaying the classic game.
Considering it is a rerelease it would have been nice to see these kinds of more drastic changes being introduced, but there is still plenty new to get stuck into. This includes revised gameplay, accessibility and improved AI and NPC behaviours. The graphics have almost been bumped up a level and it has DLSS.
