It’s Virtual Console Friday and that means it’s time for more classic games to be released on the Wii Virtual Console. Games up for inspection this week are Streets of Rage, Sword of Vermilion and Bio-Hazard Battle for the SEGA Mega Drive, and Chew Man Fu for Turbografx.
The pick is probably Streets of Rage, which sees you and a buddy take on the roles of ex-cops who have taken the law into their own hands. The game was first released back in 1991 and is the first in a Streets of Rage trilogy.
The other three titles are much less familiar: Sword of Vermilion is an RPG that will take players on an quest to save the world; Bio-Hazard Battle is a 2D side-scrolling shoot ’em up; and Chew Man Few sees players working to undo a curse to rob the world of fried rice, egg roles and other snacks.
The SEGA Mega Drive games all cost 800 Wii Points and Chew Man Few for the Turbografx will set you back 600 Wii Points.
