Sony’s PlayStation Network downtime following a breach of its security which exposed the personal details of over 70 million accounts cost the company over £100 million, but that hasn’t stopped Sony’s president of network entertainment Tim Schaaff from enjoying himself.
“Great experience, really good time,” Schaaff said of the hack. “Though I wouldn’t like to do it again.”
Schaaff believes it was more important to manage the fallout from the attack than prevent the attack in the first place.
“A determined hacker will get you, the question is how you build your life so you’re able to cope with those things,” he said.
After a rough few months, Sony recently said that it believes its brand is bouncing back from the PSN hack.
