What is Thumper, really?

The inclusion of a giant futuristic space head is a confusing one, but does it really matter? Alice has clearly been playing too much Thumper as she tries to work out exactly what’s going on with that beetle.

Thumper is a great rhythm action game, with strong visuals, fantastic design, and more speed than Keanu Reeves on a bus rigged to explode.
