WRC 6 will release on PS4, Xbox One and PC this October, Bigben Interactive has confirmed – and you can check out the first in-game footage in the trailer above.

Developed by Motorcycle Club studio Kylotonn Games, WRC 6 promises to take the series to a “new level of realism and excitement”, and features narrower roads and longer special stages for even more heart-pounding rally races.

Improved graphics and sound are promised, too, thanks to “new development tools”, as are brand new head-to-head Super Special Stages. “All these massive improvements make WRC 6 the best way to feel the excitement of being in the boots of a real driver among some of the toughest conditions around the world,” says Bigben.

The first screenshots of WRC 6 were revealed back in May.
