Rainbow Six Siege is to receive an open beta test in the days ahead of its release, Ubisoft has announced.

Available from next Wednesday, November 25 through to Sunday, November 29, the beta will offer all PS4, Xbox One and PC players the chance to give the game a go ahead of its release the following Tuesday, December 1.

The beta will be available to pre-load from November 23, and will open one day early to participants of last month’s closed beta on November 24.

Your progression, inventory and rank will not carry over into the final game.

The open beta includes access to 14 operators and 3 maps – Hereford, Kanal and House – split across PvP competitive multiplayer and PvE Terrorist Hunt.

The open beta follows a closed beta test last month, which offered all participants a special bonus for taking part.
