Rainbow Six Siege is getting a closed beta test on PS4, Xbox One and PC later this year, Ubisoft has confirmed to VideoGamer.com.

Rumours of the beta first emerged after a leaked marketing poster at GameStop surfaced online. But Ubisoft has since confirmed that the closed beta is coming later this year, with those who pre-order the game guaranteed access.

“Yes, you can now pre-order Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege to get access to the Closed Beta later on this year,” Ubisoft said in a statement provided to VideoGamer.com. “Stay tuned for more information on the Closed Beta in the coming months.”

The beta is expected to follow the closed PC alpha test later this year. Footage of the alpha test leaked online this weekend revealing the first look at an unrevealed map set within an airport.

A release date for Rainbow Six Siege has yet to be announced.
