nDreams has announced that Xi, the world's first console-based alternate reality game, has had over five million visits since it launched in March 2009.

The game ran for three months and also featured an Alumni area which has been live in Home since the main game finished, allowing users to experience some of the content and to find out what Xi was all about.

"We're extremely proud of Xi, and the fact that the Xi Hub has now had over five million visits is a major milestone for us," commented nDreams CEO, Patrick O'Luanaigh.

"We're huge fans of PlayStation Home, and we're working hard to push the boundaries in terms of content."

O'Luanaigh also confirmed that nDreams' next Home space, the Pirate Galleon, should launch in the next month, and will be the first Home apartment to feature a mini-game, music and prizes.
