Xbox’s Indiana Jones and The Great Circle may not be an Xbox exclusive after all. While MachineGames’ upcoming FPS adventure has been advertised as a new exclusive for Xbox and PC, leakers claim a PS5 version is also in the works.

With Xbox games like Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves and more coming to PlayStation, it’s not surprising to see another exclusive jump to PS5. However, with Xbox’s exclusive offerings already dwindling in comparison to Sony, is this a step too far?

Indiana Jones’ PlayStation Port

According to renowned leaker Nate the Hate, Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is releasing this December as a timed Xbox excluisve. Afterwards, the game is said to also launch on PlayStation 5 as soon as the timed-exclusive window closes.

According to the leaker, Indiana Jones and The Great Circle’s PS5 port is planned for the first half of 2025. With the game’s release currently scheduled for December, the exclusivity period may be set for just six months.

While Indy’s new adventure will still be playable as part of the Xbox Game Pass subscription service, fans are already upset about a potential PS5 port. Of course, one leaker’s claims are not the same as an announcement, so take this information with a grain of salt.

Phil Spencer on Exclusivity

While no indication of current plans, Xbox head Phil Spencer previously denied rumours of Indiana Jones coming to PlayStation. Prior to the reveal of Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves and more on PlayStation 5, Spencer explained that both Starfield and Indiana Jones were not coming to Sony’s console. However, plans always change.

“They are not Starfield or Indiana Jones,” Spencer said when addressing upcoming ports to PlayStation.

With exclusivity periods always changing, we have seen titles like Final Fantasy XVI come to PC after a year of PlayStation-only release. However, Xbox’s platform is undeniably receiving less games than its competitors, and fans have had enough.
