Any pre-orders placed for the Xbox One Standard Edition are guaranteed for delivery prior to Christmas, GAME has announced.
In an update on its website, GAME said that it was “happy to confirm that the Standard Edition Console is guaranteed for Christmas.
“All preorders placed so far, and any orders that continue to be placed until further notice, will be with you in time for Christmas, although we cannot confirm the exact date at this time.”
The retailer has already allocated all of its launch stock, including the newer Forza Motorsport 5 Day One Edition bundles.
Though pre-order numbers have yet to be released, GAME’s update suggests Microsoft will be looking to replenish a healthy amount of stock of Xbox One in the run up to Christmas.
Only Argos, Currys and ShopTo.net still appear to be taking pre-orders for Xbox One for launch day. However, Microsoft has previously said that it is holding inventory back to ensure stock will be available to buy off the shelf on day one.
