Xbox has announced the games coming to Xbox Game Pass for the second half of September 2022, headlining the additions with former PS5 exclusive Deathloop.

It’s a bit of an indie-heavy offering this month – including viking survival sim Valheim, Let’s Build A Zoo and Slime Rancher 2 heading into early access for subscribers to the service.

Let’s jam through all the additions in the next couple of weeks.

Xbox Game Pass late September 2022 – new games added

As previously announced, Arkane’s Deathloop is now available on the Xbox Series X|S for the first time, and is straight on Xbox Game Pass on the console – as well as PC and the Cloud from today.

It also includes the brand new Goldenloop content – which includes new powers, new abilities and even an extended ending. Check out the details here.

Also on the service today is derelict spaceship salvaging sim (it’s a thing) Hardspace: Shipbreaker on Cloud and Xbox Series X|S. You’ll be taking apart ships in space – which sounds straightforward, but is fraught with danger.

The next batch of games arrives on September 22, headlined by the arrival of Slime Rancher 2 in early access. The original game provided some wholesome slime-raising, and the sequel makes things bigger. Grab it on Cloud, PC and Xbox Series X|S.

On top of that, there’s storybook adventure Beacon Pines on Cloud, Console and PC and SpiderHeck – a co-op couch brawler on Console and PC.

September 27 brings the full 1.0 release of Obsidian’s Grounded. The pint-size adventure now has a complete story and plenty more additions, so even if you’ve tried it before it’ll be worth coming back and seeing what’s changed on Cloud, Console and PC.

Moonscars, meanwhile, is a 2D “souls-like” platformer, that sees you playing as “clayborne warrior” Grey Irma. That’s again, on all three Game Pass flavours: Cloud, Console and PC.

September 29 will welcome Viking survival game Valheim, onto PC Game Pass having already proven massively popular so far. Quirky zoo management game Let’s Build A Zoo meanwhile comes to Cloud, Console and PC – adding a healthy twist of gene splicing into the mix.

Finally, family-friendly game PAW Patrol Grand Prix arrives on Cloud, Console and PC on September 30.
