Xbox Game Pass Early October 2022 games revealed including A Plague Tale: Requiem and Scorn

Xbox has revealed the next set of games available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers for the early part of October 2022.

The first couple of weeks of offerings aren’t quite as heavy in volume as usual – with many of the games for just one format. However, there’s a couple of choice Day One titles to get stuck into, and some to set us up for the imminent Halloween season.

Let’s take a look at what’s on offer.

Xbox Game Pass Early October 2022 games

Kicking off today with Chivalry 2 on Cloud, Console and PC – the multiplayer medieval fighting game dares you to take your sword to the battlefield for some historical battles.

In a similar vein, Medieval Dynasty will arrive for Xbox Series X|S on October 6, having previously already been available on PC Game Pass.

Speaking of PC Game Pass, that version of the service gets a couple of Telltale’s The Walking Dead games on the same day, October 6. Both The Complete First Season and Season Two are up for grabs, as you guide Clementine through zombies, survivors and heartbreaking decisions.

October 11 sees another Halloween themed game – but this time more family-friendly in the form of Double Fine’s Costume Quest on Cloud and Console. That’s joined – also on Cloud and Console – by Eville, a multiplayer social deduction game launching straight into Console and PC Game Pass.

On October 13 the PC Game Pass gets space simulation Dyson Sphere Program, and October 14 brings us Scorn on Cloud, PC and Xbox Series X|S for some HR Geiger-inspired horror.

Finally, A Plague Tale: Requiem is the highly anticipated sequel to 2019 slow burn hit, A Plague Tale Innocence. You’ll rejoin Amicia and her little brother Hugo – trying to avoid a vicious plague of rats, and plenty of other dangers, on Cloud, PC and Xbox Series X|S on October 18.

As for the games leaving the service this month – you’ve got until October 15 to play the following games. Don’t forget, your subscription also entitles you to a 20% discount off these titles in the Xbox Store, in case you want to keep them permanently.
