The Xbox 360 Hour Tour, which begins in Glasgow on November 4th, is giving the UK public the chance to try out some of the console’s top games before the Xbox 360 launches throughout Europe on December 2nd. Some of the games on show will be Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo: Elements of Power and Project Gotham Racing 3. The Tour will move onto Birmingham, then Leeds and finally London.

Each venue will contain 60 Xbox 360 consoles and will also host a special VIP preview evening for a few lucky gamers. The event is open to the general public from 10am to 6pm and on arrival you will be allocated a 30 minute time slot in which you can play on the Xbox 360.

This is a great opportunity for people around the country to put the Xbox 360 through it’s paces and judge first hand whether it lives up to their expectations” said Stephen McGill, head of marketing for Xbox. “We’re confident gamers will be impressed with the innovation in graphics, animation and gameplay but the Xbox 360 also has loads to offer non gamers so we’ll be showing the music and entertainment capabilities too. We’re delighted to kick off the tour in Scotland and give Glaswegians the first taste of the next generation of gaming.
