Wuthering Waves fans have some great new characters to anticipate. Update 1.3 is set to come out very soon, and then we have update 1.4. Kuro has already confirmed the new playable heroes set to arrive in the penultimate chapter to 2.0, and a Wuthering Waves leak has shown an in-game render of one of the new 1.4 characters.
The release date for WuWa 1.3 is September 29th. The new banner characters set to arrive are The Shorekeeper and Youhu. We are also still set to get WuWa on PS5 consoles, but, unfortunately, no release date has been announced. Although nothing has been suggested by Kuro, there is speculation that it will land on Sony consoles in early 2025.
While we are looking forward to update 1.3, Kuro has already confirmed new banner characters for 1.4. One of them is the eagerly anticipated Camellya, while the other is a humanoid mouse.
Wuthering Waves update 1.4 leak shows in-game render for Lumi
As confirmed by Kuro on the official Wuthering_Waves X account, the new banner characters for update 1.4 are Camellya and Lumi. Based on the order of the reveals, Camellya should be coming out first in November with Lumi arriving shortly after.
On the WutheringWavesLeaks subreddit, a render of the in-game Lumi model has been shared courtesy of leaker Stephaven on telegram. You can check out the render in the embedded post below:
Most of the replies are extremely positive. One comment says she “looks 3x better in-game, I really love the pink and orange”. A lot of other comments simply express the sentiment “She looks so good,” and then there are a myriad of other compliments that, upon reading, can’t be shared here for obvious reasons.
As for what we know about Lumi, she is said to have a “charming personality, like a shaft of sunlight”. She is also “Born disciplined,” and enjoys her “daily tasks as a diligent courier, honoring her duty of punctual delivery”.
She is also 4-stars and that’s all we know about the character as of writing. The closed update 1.4 beta should begin shortly after 1.3 officially starts, so it’s likely we will be seeing gameplay and animation leaks fairly soon.
