Wuthering Waves has a lot of exciting characters for the future. We are currently in update 1.3, but in 1.4 we will be getting Camellya and Lumi. We will then transition into WuWa 2.0 where more new heroes will become available. There are a lot of leaks online, and a recent leak has revealed a new Wuthering Waves character that “resembles Dainsleif” from Genshin Impact.
The Shorekeeper is available to claim right now, meanwhile, Youhu will release in just a few weeks. As for the future, leaks have revealed a female “gothic” character for 2.0, and other leaks have revealed “peak” skins that are on the way for existing characters.
While fans are looking forward to the “gothic” heroine, a lot of the community have been eagerly anticipating more male characters. Fortunately, one appears to be on the way in update 2.1, and it could be one of the coolest Wuthering Waves characters yet.
Wuthering Waves leak reveals new 2.1 character
On the WutheringWavesLeaks subreddit, details about a new character have surfaced online. Leaker Ennui said the new male character in 2.1 possesses the following physical traits:
- A black and white mask
- The mask sometimes breaks in half and only the black remains
- His mask may not always be on him
- He (maybe) has purple or blue hair
- He resembles Dainsleif from GI
In response to all of the above, renowned WuWa leaker, Stepleaks, said “Make the hair more green with purple highlights”. The leaker also suggested he has purple eyes.
According to stepleaks, the character is the “same model as Yuanwu/Calcharo/Jiyan“. The below fan concept is also the most accurate according to Stepleaks:
