Wuthering Waves is the new big gacha game on the market and there is a lot to enjoy. Kuro has done a tremendous job with the game so far, and it’s clear they are listening to the community in regard to feedback. Fans absolutely love the WuWa experience, but it’s not perfect and players would like the Wuthering Waves developer to remove an “annoying” bug for elite enemies.

There is a lot to anticipate for the very near future of WuWa. The release date for Changli is imminent, and she has received some buffs prior to her playable debut. In addition, some huge update 1.2 leaks have appeared online, and another leak suggests the game is going to get a big upgrade Genshin Impact fans have wanted for years.

New content is always exciting, but there are issues in the game players would like Kuro to fix/improve. Elite enemies are notoriously special and difficult foes in Wuthering Waves, and there is a massive flaw that makes them even more challenging but not in a way that’s fun.

Wuthering Waves fans want change to elite enemies

On the Wuthering Waves subreddit, OP Thatonedude6406 shared a post titled ‘You have got to be kidding me‘. The post is accompanied by a gameplay clip showing them battling the lvl 120 elite enemy, Mighty Lightcrusher.

The post is tagged as technical issue/bug, and it shows the player largely winning against the elite enemy before it runs too far into the distance and returns with a full health bar. The post is accompanied by the OP asking, “Why the hell is it possible for the bosses to leave their own areas and then come back with full health?”.

You can check out the gameplay clip in the embedded Reddit post below:

Reacting to the footage, many of the replies share the OP’s frustration. One of the top replies says, “Elites in general just jump around way too much and way too far in this game. Hope they [Kuro] change it”. Another comment says, “tbf it not a boss, just elite enemy so there is no force field like mephis boss field, still annoying nonetheless”.

While the complaint is specifically about elite bosses, the comments point out that this issue “Happens with regular elite/mobs too, and even without them going far away”. One of the replies says, “I frequently notice that mobs reset with full health in longer battles… Especially noticeable in packs with one or more elites + a number of regular mobs. As I kill regulars, elite just goes “meh, it’s boring” and resets even if he is within 5 meters from my character… I think it happens because of pathfinding/unable to attack. Mob resets if it can’t approach and attack you within like 5 seconds or so”.

Presuming it is an issue involving pathfinding and the enemy unable to approach and attack within seconds, it’s a problem fans would like to see fixed. Elite enemies are already challenging enough, and their health completely resetting is a frustrating flaw that’s unfair on the player.
