Wuthering Waves 2.0 brought the game to PS5 consoles, and now we are on the horizon of getting update 2.1. This will introduce two more playable 5-stars characters to the game, and both of them look fantastic. The release date and time countdown for when the Wuthering Waves 2.1 livestream will start is nearly over, and here you will find banner leaks along with how to watch the event live.

Wuthering Waves 2.1 livestream date

The date for the Wuthering Waves 2.1 livestream preview is February 7th. This has been confirmed on the game’s official X account.

Previews typically take place two weeks before the new act begins, but this upcoming preview is taking place slightly later than usual presumably because of Lunar New Year. The release date for WuWa 2.1 is February 13^th, so we only have to wait a week for the new chapter to begin.

When does Wuthering Waves 2.1 livestream start?

The start time for the Wuthering Waves 2.1 livestream is 3AM PT/6AM ET/11AM GMT on February 7th.

On X, Kuro has confirmed that the preview will take place from 7PM (UTC+8), which translates to the above hours for people in the United States and United Kingdom. There’s no mention of how long the preview will last, but they are typically one hour.

You will be able to watch the livestream on both YouTube and Twitch. If you are unable to catch the livestream while it happens, you can watch the VOD on YouTube.

2.1 banner leaks

The official new 5-stars characters for Wuthering Waves 2.1 are Phoebe and Brant. Gameplay leaks of Phoebe have emerged online following the 2.1 closed beta, and fans unanimously agree that she looks godly.

While we know of the two new characters and headliners, during the preview Kuro will confirm the accompanying 4-stars heroes. Nothing is confirmed yet, but below are the 4-stars comrades according to leaks:
