Wuthering Waves will have a thrilling a start to the new year with the launch of update 2.0. It’s a highly-anticipated chapter, and it will be the perfect point for new players to hop aboard the WuWa bandwagon. There is a lot to anticipate including two new playable characters, and Wuthering Waves leaks now show adorable new animals and much more coming in update 2.0 for Rinascita.
Next year feels like a new beginning for WuWa. The game is finally coming to consoles via the PS5, and Kuro Games has just been snapped up by Tencent. As for what fans should expect from update 2.0, leaks have shown some gorgeous new skins, and leaks have also revealed some fundamental new features.
While new playable characters, skins, and features are undoubtedly exciting, Wuthering Waves fans can also expect to see more wildlife.
Wuthering Waves update 2.0 Rinascita leaks reveal new animals
On the WutheringWavesLeaks subreddit, models of new animals for Rinascita have been shared courtesy of WuWa Land from telegram. Some of the models include racoons, crabs, and fish, and they all look ridiculously adorable and cute.
In addition to new animals, WuWa Land, courtesy of KarlSQuent, has also shared models of new creatures/NPCs for Rinascita. These models look bizarre, and, in the comments, one of the models has been compared to the famous handsome Squidward from SpongeBob.
Lastly, as if new animals and NPCs wasn’t enough, WuWa Land has also shared the 3D model of an unusual submarine.
For those not in the know, Rinascita is a new exlorable region that will be introduced in Wuthering Waves 2.0. Per an announcement shared on X, the “journey begins in Ragunna, a vibrant city-state famous for its arts and masked carnivals,” along with elite families.
The release date for 2.0 is January 2nd, so we only have to wait just under a month for the new beginning to arrive. This is also when the game will launch on PS5 consoles, so many new people will be experiencing WuWa for the very first time.
