Wuthering Waves 2.0 is less than a month away. There is a lot to anticipate for the community including new playable characters and fresh explorable land. However, there will also be introduction of new QoL improvements along with new features and settings. There are certain additions WuWa fans have wanted since launch, and a Wuthering Waves 2.0 leak shows the introduction of a highly-requested brand-new visual setting.
Kuro Games is set to introduce 2.0 at the beginning of the new year. A lot of leaks have appeared online ahead of the game’s new fresh beginning, and these leaks include some new animal and NPC models for Rinascita, along with gorgeous new skins. In addition, leaks also show the game is introducing fundamental new features such as being able to change between male and female MC.
While the ability to switch between male and female rover without restarting is something fans have craved since day one of the game’s launch, there are other settings getting introduced to Wuthering Waves that are equally highly-requested.
Wuthering Waves 2.0 leak reveals ray tracing setting and more
On the Wuthering Waves Leaks subreddit, KarlSQuent has shared another leak for 2.0. This comes courtesy of Sleepy on the Stormy Waves Discord.
The leak is a screenshot of new settings for WuWa 2.0. The options are as follows:
- Ribbon Animation: On/Off
- Cutscene: Black bar On/Off
- Ray tracing: On/Off
Obviously, the big addition out of the above is the ability to enable ray tracing. Kuro Games’ gacha experience already looks stunning, but the introduction of ray tracing should make it look even better through improvements to lighting and reflections.
You will be able to enable ray tracing or not depending on whether you prefer the best possible performance over the best possible visuals. In addition, we’re also glad to see that Kuro are adding the ability to remove black bars during cut-scenes. The letterbox view is intended to make cut-scenes more cinematic, but a lot of players just want to see the full picture.
Lastly, we are also getting the option to disable or enable ribbon animations. No idea what this means compared to the others, but it presumably involves physics moving more realistically.
